Hi and welcome to Steve’s Car Audio.
The main reason I started this site is when I started looking for a DVD player for my VX Belina I could not believe the prices that most major Car Radio/HI FI stores were charging for them. I also found that most were manufactured using the same parts! Panasonic mechanisms, the same TFT (Thin Film Transistor) LCD Touch screens rebranded! Then repackaged and priced up by over 100% (and more in some cases).
Now don’t get me wrong there is a difference between a Sony and a No Name brand and that’s not just the price. But all I wanted was a DVD/TV head unit for the Commodore as I had no intentions of entering any Audio DUB fests!
So once I started my research it didn’t take too long before I worked out we were paying way too much for in Car DVD players and were NOT being offered the latest products.
Hence I started Steve’s Car Audio.
Now the fact that I don’t have to pay salesmen, rent and all the other associated costs involved in running a bricks and mortar store, I have cut the prices and passed those saving onto you.
I also know that most consumers (as I used to be) are wary when it comes to purchasing over the Internet and that’s why we have listed our products with Shopify. Not only that we have also included the secure and safe payment options of PayPal or Bank deposit. That way we do not hold any of your credit card details.
We are an all Australian company based in Victoria.
